Hi there! I’m Eva Brooks!
I’m a writer and artist from Lombard, Illinois. I currently live in Iowa City, Iowa, where I received my BA in English and creative writing on the publishing track in 2024.
For my day job, I work at Evergrow Marketing. My title is “Digital Marketing Specialist” — I tell people in public that I write copy for lawn care websites, but there’s a lot more that goes into it. SEO-ranking and DNS-record type things. I also write a lot of copy, though.
Generally, I consider myself an aspiring novelist, but I have been trying to hone my craft with short stories. I love drawing and animation as a hobby. Overall what I dream of being, regardless of medium, is a storyteller. That’s why it’s in the footer of my website!
